Chaitra Navaratri 2024

Chaitra Navaratri is a festival of major significance, celebrated with great devotion and enthusiasm across various parts of India and spiritual communities worldwide. This festival spans nine nights (and ten days in some regions), marking the beginning of the Hindu lunar calendar year, usually falling in March or April.

During this special time of the year, it is considered particularly auspicious to chant the mantras of Durga, the fierce form of the Cosmic Mother, who provides protection to her devotees, and who is invoked to remove obstacles from our lives and to destroy all enemies, whether the internal “demons”, innate traits that cause us to self-sabotage, or external negative influences.

This is a very powerful practice, not suitable for everyone, especially beginners to spiritual life or those who are excessively attached to their current ways of life.

If, however, you feel you are qualified to undertake this journey, request access to the Advanced Mantra Chanting space if you’re already a member of The Living Yoga Project, or join our community first and find it in the Yogic Lifestyle and Philosophy section.

Last but not least: This event is free, but if you’d like to support this and other efforts on our platform, feel free to leave a donation using the simple form a the bottom of this page.

I look forward to chanting with you again soon!
